Dr. Guy Burk, DMD
Dr. Guy Burk is a Board-Certified Implantologist with a passion for restoring smiles and transforming lives through advanced surgical dentistry. He specializes in Full-Arch implant restorations, including the “All-on-X” procedure, and focuses particularly on severe bone loss cases where minimal bone is present. He is certified in IV sedation and has extensive experience in full mouth rehabilitation and treating myofascial pain and clenching. He has achieved his designation as a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral Implantology meaning he has achieved the highest level of recognized competence in implant dentistry.
Born and raised in Anchorage, Dr. Guy Burk purchased the practice from his father, Dr. Don Burk, in 2008. In addition to his work at Anchorage Midtown Dental, he also founded Take 2 Dental Implant Studio, a specialty clinic focused on providing state-of-the-art implant solutions in a comfortable and modern setting.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Guy is a true Alaskan at heart. He’s a licensed helicopter and fixed-wing pilot and enjoys hunting, fishing, diving, and just about every board sport you can think of. He especially loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Jessica Burk, their two daughters, August and Ella, and their mini goldendoodle, Chewy.
Dr. Burk is proud to serve the Alaska community and is always excited to meet and care for the incredible people who call this state home.

Dr. Vivian Burk
Dr. Vivian Burk grew up in Anchorage before attending Oregon State University and Oregon Health and Science University. She has been with AMDC since 2011, and is currently serving as our practice’s Managing Provider.
Outside of practice she enjoys spending time with her large family including husband Jim, sons Bailey and Jamison, and daughters Rose and Vivie. Her family also includes two older dogs, her black lab Missy and dachshund Archie. They enjoy time at the lake, live music, and Dr. Vivian especially enjoys downtime with puzzles of all kinds: jigsaw, crossword, cryptoquote, sudoku – the list goes on.
Her interests in dentistry include root canal therapy, dental implants, veneers and she is licensed in IV sedation.
Dr. Jessica Burk
Dr. Jessica Burk grew up in Tualatin, Oregon. She attended the University of Oregon and earned her dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University. Joining the practice in 2009, she had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Don Burk.
Dr. Jessica enjoys the full scope of general dentistry, from prevention to full-mouth rehabilitation. She especially loves the conservative approach of Bioclear, a minimally invasive restoration technique, and has completed advanced training at the Bioclear learning center in Washington. Dr. Jessica is also trained in Invisalign and IV sedation.
Outside of the office, you’ll find her enjoying time with her family. She and her husband, Guy, have two daughters and a mini goldendoodle named Chewy. Dr. Jessica loves running, snowboarding, and enjoying the Alaskan outdoors.
Dr. Blair J. Tudor, DMD
Dr. Blair Tudor was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon. He attended Oregon State University and continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating in 2007.
Since then, Dr. Tudor has been dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality dental care. He has a special interest in working with highly dental-phobic patients, offering a calm and understanding approach paired with advanced techniques such as IV sedation. His clinical expertise includes dental implants, bone grafting, extractions, endodontics, full and partial dentures, and restorative procedures.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tudor enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including downhill skiing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He values the balance between professional excellence and personal well-being, and he brings that same philosophy into how he cares for his patients.
Dr. Tudor is passionate about helping each patient feel at ease and confident in their dental care journey.
Dr. Sydney Laudon
Dr. Sydney grew up in Alaska attending Sand Lake, Mears and Dimond High School. She is proud to have completed the Japanese Immersion program. She attended Oregon State and Penn State for her Bachelors in Public health before attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Sydney’s late father, Dr. Scott Laudon, was the nephew of Dr. Donald Burk the founder, and he also worked at AMDC before starting his own practice. Dr. Sydney feels blessed to be able to carry on the family legacy at Anchorage Midtown Dental working alongside her cousins.
Dr. Sydney’s interests are restorative and family dentistry as well as full mouth reconstruction for severe wear and cosmetics. She is certified in Invisalign clear aligner therapy and Botox for esthetics and bruxism. She is committed to providing quality dental care and being a guide to better health for her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Sydney enjoys traveling, skiing, fishing, playing softball, and spending time with friends and family enjoying all that Alaska has to offer.
